Chewing tobacco has been around for many years, well before the early 1900’s. I have been chewing Copenhagen Tobacco since the early 90’s, ever since I made the switch from cigarettes. I had alway grabbed the same type of cope since I started. Until recently I came across the pouches. New to me, but probably no to others, I decided it was time for a change. The copenhagen fine cut, which is what I switched from was a very fine ground of tobacco that you placed between your lip and gums. The grounds are as fine cut as coffee. When I first started chewing, I found that the fine cut was a better choice and more comfortable to chew than a long cut chew. But, though I was getting the nicotine fix that I needed, it tended to stick in my teeth. I really didn’t like that, but I just made sure to brush my teeth I dip to get all of the left over cleaned out. When I found the pouches I was glad to see that they had come up with a solution to the mess that is the fine cut. The simply put the tobacco into a small filter like pouch that you place between your lip and gum. Some of the pouches do not require that you spit, but I found out of habit that I was any way. I have made the switch permanetely to the pouches. They are easier to handle, it tastes great and they don’t make the mess that the other chews do. Copenhagen Tobacco has a variety of flavors to choose from and are offered in the pouches. But, if your are like me, you stick to the one’s you love because you know you will never be disappointed.
