Let the BBQ Season Open

Wednesday, April 14th, 2010

It is time to dust off your grills, put on your cut-off’s and sandels and revel in the day out barbequing and puffing awesome Cigars. Together with my favourite stogies, I like to sip on a glass of scotch and just relax. After such a long winter, which appeared to be longer than years past, last weekend was perfect BBQ weather. I was able to eventually open all of my windows and air out the house. I don’t smoke within, nonetheless it needed displaying out anyway. I tuned up my grass mower because yes, sadly it is that time of the year also. The snow is gone and the grass is growing. I don’t mind cutting my grass and keeping the grass up. There’s really a great satisfaction to a good looking grass and worth all of the effort. This past weekend, I smoked my favorite cigar and BBQ’d up some ribs and pork steaks. I love to think about myself as the master chef, king of the griddle. There is nothing like lighting those coals and going to the city on bountiful meats and veggies. Naturally I think of myself as a charcoal man, I adore the flavour of the grill. If you use gas, it does not get the smokey flavour that I love and is way overrated. I invited all of my buddies and naturally the spouse and youngsters were there. It’s a bit to cold to swim yet, but once commemorative day comes around, I’ll open the pool for the season. My children love swimming and splashing around, I am also known to take a dip with cigar and scotch in hand. Summer is a great time to get together with friends and family and enjoying life they way you wish to.
