Just Days to the Smoking Prohibition

So, my town has approved a smoking ban for all restaurants and bars, with only a few exceptions. I am so tired of my constitutional rights being revoked, I am going crazy. I do not apprehend why non-smokers have such a sharp opinion on what we smokers do. I comprehend that smoking is damaging, but I made a conscience selection when I took up smoking, alert to the fact it was harmful. Just because non-smokers want me to quit, does not mean that it is going to happen. Smoking in restaurants has been a favor, but most restaurants provide a special smoking room. If you do not want to breathe in the smoke, don’t eat in the smoking room, you are not coerced to sit in that section. And as well as the workers of these pubs that argue they are affected by second hand smoke, I don’t believe it. I worked in the service industry for more than 10 years, and I know that most of thefellow workers were smokers.  Interacting with people, tends to, compels you to puff.  And, I have never heard one non-smoking co-worker ever protest about cigarette smoke while on the job in the smoking room. Putting a smoking prohibition in restaurants and bars, ultimately will only save me money, considering I will not eat out after the the new year.
