So, my town has approved a smoking ban for all restaurants and bars, with only a few exceptions. I am so tired of my constitutional rights being revoked, I am going crazy. I do not apprehend why non-smokers have such a sharp opinion on what we smokers do. I comprehend that smoking is damaging, but I made a conscience selection when I took up smoking, alert to the fact it was harmful. Just because non-smokers want me to quit, does not mean that it is going to happen. Smoking in restaurants has been a favor, but most restaurants provide a special smoking room. If you do not want to breathe in the smoke, don’t eat in the smoking room, you are not coerced to sit in that section. And as well as the workers of these pubs that argue they are affected by second hand smoke, I don’t believe it. I worked in the service industry for more than 10 years, and I know that most of thefellow workers were smokers. Interacting with people, tends to, compels you to puff. And, I have never heard one non-smoking co-worker ever protest about cigarette smoke while on the job in the smoking room. Putting a smoking prohibition in restaurants and bars, ultimately will only save me money, considering I will not eat out after the the new year.

Just Days to the Smoking Prohibition
Tuesday, December 29th, 2009What I need for my Present: Smokes!
Friday, December 18th, 2009I have made a decision this christmas to beg for basic presents that my wife can pick out easily for me. My selection, as always, is my favored smoke from pipe-tobacco-online.com. She won’t even have to take leave of our apartment, she can go online (I have all my favorites sites saved) and make out the order there. As far as other gifts, she can go to the nearest shop and pick out a gift. She says to me every Christmas that I am the most baffling husband to buy for. But we have been inseperable for over 15 years! And if she doesn’t realize the things I admire by now, I give up. I continuously mention every holiday, “I want stogies”, I puff on 1 or 2 a day, and that adds up. I bought a humidor for storing my stogies, “what’s that for?” she askes. Well my sweetheart, it’s to keep my cigars refreshed. So, if you get me stogies for the holiday I can hold them in there for a few months and pull a cigar when I am wishing to savor one. Although I have to say, I was blessed with luck last year, she bought me a lighter that was ingraved with my initials. The year before, she gave me a fishing pole, without thinking I said I would like to go fishing again someday. Well, I went fishing one time in two years, but guess what, I still enjoy 1-2 stogies every day. Well what do I want for the holiday this year? I want Cigars, and anything else would just be an additional delight.
